  • The Cyber Insurance marketplace is heating up and prices are beginning to increase due to the frequency and severity of claims. We have heard stories of 40% premium increases on larger accounts with a reduction of limits available for ransomware claims. Social Engineering coverage is getting hard to find as well.

If you haven't thought of Cyber Insurance in the past, with the increase of Cyber Crime, this is the time to check the marketplace. We still have insurance companies that have not had rate increases for main street type businesses including dentists, optometrists, podiatrists, attorneys and CPAs.

Email us at to discuss Cyber insurance for your business.

  • Cyber Discussions with Employees

Are you discussing Cyber Liability with your employees? If so, are ahead of the game! If not, now is the time to begin. Talk to your employees about suspicious email messages. Phishing emails are a great way for criminals to gain access to your system. Social Engineering risks are growing as well. A criminal can make an email look like it is coming from one of your regular email contacts. They will look for patterns and jump right into the middle of an email string. Before you know it you are opening up their attachments giving them access or sending off money you think is going to a client. If you think Halloween is's nothing compared to the cyber criminal's potential!
